THE HOODIE IN ALL OF US
In February of 2020, I had the vision to create a work of art that symbolized a variety of issues that plague our nation.
Social Injustice, Racial Profiling, Police Brutality...The list goes on and on.
The medium of choice was specifically a "hoodie" that was coated with layers of white latex paint and molded directly on canvas. (This will be a 4 part series)
To my surprise, on 6/4/2020 I stumbled on an Instagram post highlighting
that EVERY SINGLE STATE (IN BLACK)
HAS PROTESTED IN HONOR OF GEORGE FLOYD!
